Beatbox of the Month is a small battle that takes place every 2 months in Berlin until COVID-19 happened and returned in 2023. The intention behind it was to push the German beatbox scene, which felt behind during the last few years.
February 2020 was the 7th edition of this event.

New Judging System:
This time, the judging system used was a so-called AB-BA System. The battle is judged after each beatboxer completes a round. The beatboxers can choose whether they want to go first in both halves of the battle, second in both halves of the battle, or second in the first half and first in the second half.
If Beatboxer A wins the first half of the battle 5-0, Beatboxer B has to score at least 5-0 in the second half of the battle for the battle to go into overtime. If Beatboxer B scores 4-1, or anything weaker, Beatboxer B loses the entire battle as the total score would be 6-4 going to Beatboxer A.
