The Bulgarian Beatbox Battle (2007-2020) and the Bulgarian Beatbox Championship (2022-2023) are the official national beatboxing competition of Bulgaria.

According to Pe4enkata the quality of the bulgarian beatbox scene faded around 2013 because of wrong decicions by certain judges she don´t want to call by name. Afterwards many experienced artist didn´t want to compete anymore. Another reason was that a big sponsor (Nescafe?) left.
