Filter is an effect on the RC-505 and RC-505mkII. It modifies the brightness or thickness of a sound by cutting a specific frequency range.

Type	LPF, BPF, HPF	Selects the type of filter. LPF – Produces a low-pass filter. BPF – Produces a band-pass filter. HPF – Produces a high-pass filter.
Rate	0–100, 4MEAS–𝅘𝅥𝅱	Adjusts the rate of modulation.
Depth	0–100	Adjusts the depth of modulation.
Resonance	0–100	Adjusts the intensity of the effect.
Cutoff	0–100	Adjusts the cutoff frequency of the filter.	Can be controlled by the Input Fx/Track Fx knobs.
StepRate	OFF, 0–100, 4MEAS–𝅘𝅥𝅱	Specifies the rate of the stepped change for the effect.
