Darren Fugu Yu, better known as Ghost, is an American beatboxer.
History[]
Ghost is the creative alias of Darren Fugu Yu, a competitive beatboxer. Darren is from Upstate New York. He started beatboxing in 2014 after watching the 3rd World Beatbox Championship and the 2014 American Beatbox Championships. After developing a multigenre style as well as a passion for the art form, he now performs solo sets internationally. He is actively involved in the beatbox community by competing, judging, hosting, organizing, teaching, and committing to other beatboxing projects.
In 2023, Ghost collaborated with Long Island Beatbox to organize the first New York Beatbox Championship, an international solo battle and the first live North American event to feature the AB/BA competition format.
