The Grand Beatbox Battle (also abbreviated to GBB, and GBBB prior to 2019) is an annual international beatboxing competition hosted by Swissbeatbox.

History[]

The GBB was first held in Basel, Switzerland in 2009 as part of the larger BScene festival. The competition was originally only open to Swiss beatboxers; international competitors would eventually be allowed to participate in 2011.[1][2]

In 2019, the GBB was held in Warsaw, Poland, marking its first time outside of Switzerland. The event moved once again in 2023 to Tokyo, Japan.
