Yuri Obukhov (born as "lurii Vladislavovich Obukov"), better known as Inkie, is a Russian beatboxer and looper.
History[]
Inkie started beatboxing in 2006 after watching a video of RoxorLoops performing at the French Beatbox Championship 2016.[1] He started looping after being inspired by Beardyman and receiving an RC-505 in November 2014.[2] In Loopstation battles, he used a Line 6 Helix as a second device. Inkie works for the Swissbeatbox team and has uploaded many tutorials on how to use complex second devices.

Trivia[]
- Inkie's name originates from his childhood love of drawing with ink.[2]
- Inkie created two albums, one Keep it Strange and the other, using only 6 sounds, Voisource.
- Inkie is credited one for the many reasons that the Producer category was added to GBB, as in GBB 2019, he was disqualified for using the Line 6 Helix.
