Panning Delay is an effect on the RC-505 and RC-505mkII. It moves a delay sound alternately between left and right. It was added in the RC-505's version 2.0 update.

The Time parameter defines the interval between each repeat. Some intervals are small enough to produce a musical note. Most of them are not perfect tones (when compared to the standard 440Hz scale); nonetheless, they can still be heard as notes. Below is a table with Time values and their closest musical note.
Because the Time values have a specified unit (unlike Granular Delay, for instance), the frequency (Hz) of the note played can be calculated by using the following formula:
