An RC-505mkII unit.

The RC-505mkII is a loop station created by BOSS. It is the successor to the RC-505. The device was made available for purchase in December 2021 through select European merchants and slowly became available in other regions worldwide in early 2022.

Overview[]

History[]

On August 5, 2021, BOSS and Swissbeatbox revealed the device through its website and social media platforms, announcing that it would make its debut in the SBX Kickback Battle 2021: Loopstation Edition.

Besides the KBB21 participants, models were also distributed throughout the year to various musicians like loop artist Marc Rebillet.
