The spit snare, also known as the BMG snare, is a snare sound.
When done in quick succession, one can perform fast spit snares. Triple spit snares are commonly used by beatboxers.
History[]
There are recorded instances of the spit snare being performed as early as 2006,[1] but the sound truly became popular in the 2010s when beatboxers like BMG started to use it extensively.
