Vocoder is an effect on the RC-505 and RC-505mkII. It uses the audio input to modulate the sound of a specified track.

The carrier sound is affected by any Beat-type Track Fx (Beat Scatter, Beat Repeat, Beat Shift and Vinyl Flick) applied on that track.
